James has over 20 years' experience in senior healthcare, notably in Chelsea, London. In recent years, he has successfully formed and managed of a range of businesses in the private healthcare sector.
Currently, he is the founder of a specialist healthcare management consultancy with a client base of care homes, private hospitals, laboratory diagnostics and nutrition. More recently, James was Managing Director of Genova Diagnostics Europe and Commercial Director of the Cadogan Clinic in Sloane Street, Chelsea.
After being involved in a consultancy project in the public sector for mental health, and after observing the effects of Alzheimer's disease on his own family, James is proud to realise his dream of launching Chelsea Court Place. James is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has an MBA from Sydney Graduate School of Management. He is an active member of Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Friends programme.
Laurence S Geller, Geller Investment Company
Laurence is an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur who has led multi-national corporations in hospitality, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BEE). Previously, he held positions as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hyatt Development Corporation, where he jointly founded Classic Residences, a US nationwide senior living and healthcare company.
On December 31, 2011, Laurence was named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In May 2011, he was appointed Chancellor of the University of West London, where he is leading the expansion programme in Dementia Care at the University's College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare.
Laurence is Co-Chair of Alzheimer’s Society Appeal Board, which aims to raise £100 million annually. The Geller Foundation has made a substantial donation to fund the initial set-up and research.
Guy Geller, is currently Chief Operating Officer of Chicago Pacific Founders Living Communities and President of Grace Management, Inc. Grace operates senior living communities across the US with a portfolio of approximate 50 buildings throughout North America.
Previously, he was Managing Director of senior housing for DiNapoli Capital Partners overseeing senior housing investments. Prior to this, Guy was the UK Managing Director of Sunrise Senior Living, a portfolio consisting of 27 assisted-living and memory-care communities with a capacity of 2,800 beds.
In his role at Sunrise, Guy was responsible for portfolio financing, capital partnerships, asset management, property operations and the central management team. Before taking the helm at Sunrise, Guy was Senior Director at Brookdale Senior Living.
Guy has served on the board of the Illinois chapter of the Alzheimers Association, is an advisor to Alzheimers Society (UK) and a commissioner for the Commission on Residential Care (UK).
Guy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts of Sciences from Cornell University.
