Gabriela Zackova

General Manager

Gabriela Zackova has over 16 years of nursing experience spanning acute, senior and palliative care. Her previous positions include deputy manager at Brendoncare Foundation, A&E nurse, Clinical Lead in a private home in Southwark and specialist advisor to Care Quality Commission (CQC). With a degree in Law with Psychology, Gabby dedicates her spare time working as a Legal Advisor for a charity which provides free legal advice to the citizens of Czech Republic and Slovakia. Gabby is a very experienced Dementia Care Mapper and researches the subject at Kingston University. Gabby is an exceptionally caring person; she is passionate about providing outstanding support and enriching the lives of those in her care.

Sol Uy

Deputy Head of Care

Sol Uy is an experienced Deputy Home Manager who has worked for Care UK at Woodland Hall Care Home, a 72-bedded elderly Dementia home in Stanmore. Whilst working at Woodland Hall, Sol helped turn the Home from a CQC rating of “Requires Improvement” in 2017 to “Good” in all areas in 2018. Prior to this, Sol worked as a Clinical Lead in St. Johns Wood Care Centre, a 100- bedded nursing home whose residents live with dementia and other mental health conditions.

Dr Julia Wood

Consultant in Practice Improvement and Dementia Care

Dr Wood is a registered adult nurse whose primary clinical interests lie in medicine and older adults, dementia and long-term care. Alongside her role as senior lecturer leading inter-professional education in the school of Allied Health, Midwifery and Social Care, Dr Wood works closely with Gabby and the team at Chelsea Court Place. Dr Wood is an Advanced Dementia Care Mapper, a nurse consultant for practice improvement and dementia care in long-term care and a Specialist Advisor with the CQC.

Tom O’Dwyer

Guest Services Manager

Tom O’Dwyer is a hospitality professional with extensive experience in general management and learning and development, gained with Melia and Rydges hotel groups in London and Sydney. Tom has diplomas in Human Resources and International Tourism from Bridge College, Sydney, Australia. He is responsible for all Members' non-medical and care services and oversees our front-of-house teams.

Cynthia Constatine

Head of Activities

Cynthia Constantine has 10 years’ experience in the care industry and holds an NVQ2 and NVQ3. Her previous experience working in the hotel industry, where she worked in supervisory roles and as an activities coordinator, ignited her passion for working with people in the care sector. Cynthia is responsible for planning and coordinating the broad range of activities and events on offer at Chelsea Court Place and is devoted to enhancing and making a positive impact on the lives of all our Members.

Matt Dodge

Executive Chef

Matt is a highly experienced, award-winning chef who has previously worked at the Savoy Hotel, Sunrise Senior Living and Signature Coombe Hill Manor. His philosophy is to create classic and simple modern dishes that inspire residents to recall happy memories surrounding dining. He serves highly nutritious food that benefits the health of our Members. Matt recently starred in Channel 4’s series “The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes,” a social experiment and awareness-raising programme that trained people living with early-onset dementia to run a restaurant, preparing and serving delicious food for the public.

Alex Morte

Head Chef

Alex Morte was awarded the National Association of Care Catering (NACC), Care Cook of the Year, in 2016, and also won the highly commended Main Course award. Alex previously worked at Signature Coombe Hill Manor in Surrey. He enjoys working in the care sector, relishing the opportunity to provide delicious, nutritious food which meets the needs of individual Members and ensuring that every meal is an enjoyable dining experience while, at the same time, providing Members with flavours and smells they have grown to love throughout their lives.
